THE JOURNEY A musical production by Next Level Generation. Can a group of young performers from Parramatta make it to the Broadway stage or will their dreams fail them? The musical takes you on "The Journey" of this sensational local performing arts group that has grown from nothing 5 years ago. They have gone from Australia Day 2004 in Parramatta Park to Kenya, Malaysia, Los Angeles, Mt. Druitt, Cambelltown ,Parramatta and many other schools, Channel 9, Royal Easter Show, NRL main games.... the list goes on. The whole production is original: the choreography, singing and drama and is written by the NLG team. All performers are local youth who constantly give time and teaching to young people without cost. How do these people do it with no official govt. funding or support? What problems have they faced? Their story is told in "The Journey"; a real story about real people who live in our area... They are Parramatta's local success story. There are two shows on Friday 12 December, 1pm and 8pm at Parramatta Riverside Theatres NLG make no profit from this venture except to fulfil our aim to... Encourage youth, Bring change and Spark hope! |
